About Us

Since 1993, Building Bridges has profoundly impacted people and institutions throughout Western North Carolina. To date, more than 1000 participants have attended the program from:

Hendersonville, Black Mountain, Lake Junaluska, Franklin, Cherokee, Waynesville, Madison County and Rutherfordton. The program has been hosted at the following churches; New Mount Olive Baptist, Grace Covenant Presbyterian, Hill Street Baptist, Mount Zion Missionary Baptist, All Souls Episcopal, Jubilee!, St. Paul's Methodist, Nazareth First Baptist, Berry Temple United Methodist, Temple Beth Ha-Tephila, Reid Community Center, MAHEC, A-B Tech, Central United Methodist Church and Bahaí Faith Center.

Attention Teachers, Clergy and Healthcare Professionals!

Continuing Education Units (CEU's) are offered for participation in all of our seminars

• Teachers and other school personnel may receive CEU's accredited by the Asheville City and Buncombe County Schools.

• Health professionals may receive 1.8 CEUs for participation in the nine session seminar as designated by The Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC).

• United Methodist clergy may receive 1.8 CEU's from The regional office of the United Methodist Church.
